Fall family photo sessions are almost a standard annual tradition at this point. I love seeing my friends’ kids in adorable coordinating outfits amongst autumn leaves or sunflowers. I wasn’t going to miss my first opportunity to get some of these photos of my own! These also happened to be our first family photos with Violet outside of the hospital setting. My favorite photographer, Rita Clark with Heirloom Photo Company, joined us at home and in our neighborhood of Downtown Overland Park for the shoot. Trying to time photos between a three-month-old’s naps wasn’t easy, and I failed and had a fussy, tired baby almost the entire time. But I think we got some great shots and I loved having these to include on our family Christmas card this year!
