Baby Girl’s Nursery Design

Designing the nursery has been one of my favorite parts of pregnancy so far, and was something I looked forward to for weeks. I had designs for girl and boy nurseries picked out, so as soon as we found out we were having a girl we started painting and getting her space ready. With the completion of the nursery, Dave and I have officially redone every single room of our house in the last five years! I love how our whole house looks and will share some room tours if you’re interested, but the nursery is by far my most favorite room in our house. It just feels perfect!

I knew I wanted to use purple and that I wanted to do a wallpaper statement wall, and I spent many nights getting inspiration from Pinterest and Instagram (follow @Project Nursery for some amazing ideas). Somewhere I stumbled upon the white and gold floral wallpaper from Target and then everything else fell into place. We used purple, white and gold throughout and incorporated some of our favorite of her toys and books into the decor. I also focused on local, handmade artwork for the walls and I think the pieces we collected compliment each other so well, including a few pieces that were done by her great-grandmother! I’ve linked to all the products below in case you’d like to order them for yourselves, and I hope you love it as much as I do!
